Bonkers Theatrical

Bonkers Theatrical

Barton Seagrave

Bonkers Theatrical were founded in 2008 and produce straight plays as opposed to musical theatre. We strive to produce gritty & thought provoking or very funny theatre with each and every performance. We believe the Theatre is not somewhere that you should go, watch, be entertained but ultimately forget when you walk out of the foyer. It is our mission to encourage our audiences to think about what they have seen and the characters that have reached out to them. If we can make you consider that, after the event, then we as a company have succeeded.

Cytringan Players

Kettering, Wellingborough

Cytringan is an ancient name for Kettering, Northamptonshire, dating back to 956AD. The Cytringan Players, from Kettering, haven’t been around quite that long, but we have been presenting plays in Northamptonshire for nearly 80 years. We are a small group who like to perform a varied programme of exciting, challenging drama.
After many years of presenting plays to Kettering audiences, we have now made our home at the Studio Theatre at The Castle in Wellingborough, and enjoy the intimacy of the smaller venue.
Box Office 01933 270007
Production week normally runs as follows:
Sunday - ‘Get-In’ + Technical
Monday & Tuesday - Rehearsals
Wednesday to Saturday - Performances.
Saturday post-performance - ’Get-Out’
Sunday - Scenery barn
We aim to do two major, full-length productions each year, usually in March and October.
We have had notable successes at various Drama Festivals, with both One-Act and Full Length plays, and have taken part in the National Drama Festivals Association’s British All-Winners Finals on several occasions.
We entered the Isle of Man Full-Length Festival as an extra production for our 70th anniversary year in 2006. We were thrilled to win, and then took part in the All Winners Final 2006 at Woking. We successfully defended our title at the Isle of Man in 2007 and, after a 6 year break, will be returning there again at Easter 2013.
We are always looking for new directors with interesting plays, and actors, and backstage crew, and audience!

Eclipse Performing Arts

Eclipse first started in 2000 with an ethos of theatre for all by all! We have and always have had a membership age of 10-110 and we plan our shows to accommodate everyone.
Eclipse is very much about taking theatre to the community, although we perform in the Willows arts centre, one of our traditions is to take our annual pantomime on tour around local primary schools on a profit share (usually in the first week of December). These pantomimes are written by members of our company and help us keep close ties with our friends in Corby.
We also like to promote talent from within. Our shows are usually, directed, choreographed, musically directed and staged by people in or friends of our society.
This is not to say that our new friends or new members can't have ago as Eclipse is a have ago society! If you want to give it a shot, we will support you!
