My name is Abby and I volunteer as a drama teacher to a special group of students. We are preparing for our production of Alice in Wonderland! We have been researching websites about acting, productions, plays and we came across your site.
I've been teaching the students how to research information online and they have been doing great! One of my girls, Donna brought in an article for me to see about makeup tips that could be resourceful to the production. I am so proud of her going above and beyond the lesson in finding it! Here is the article: Makeup and Cosmetics History
If you would add a link to it from your own website so that I can surprise them and show them that you found their work useful and interesting? They will be so proud and excited if you will. I hope it didn't hurt that I promised the group a pizza party if you added it for them :) Hope you be willing to help us with this exercise. Something smaller to us like this has a big impact on my kids!
Thank you in advance!

Make-Up Artist
I have recently became a fully qualified Make-Up Artist after studying Level 3 Make-Up Artistry at Worcester College of Technology and the areas I covered are; Theatrical, Fashion, Media, Casualty, Face Paining, Body Painting, Bridal, Day, Evening and Special Occasion. I am currently volunteering to do any Make-Up that Drama Groups may need for performances, shows or anything else! I am available to either do one offs or I can commit to groups to do regular Make-Up including at rehearsals and I am free most evenings to do this.
I am looking to build up my experience so all of the Make-Up I do wont be at any cost, as it will be a great help for me too!
If you know of anyone who may be interested please get in contact through this email address georgia_greene6666@hotmail.com )
Thank you very much

Voluntary Work Wanted
Jan 2014 onwards
I am writing to you to enquire whether there is any possibility of obtaining some voluntary work experience working alongside the makeup artists within your theatres. I am 18 years old and currently a student at City College in Norwich, having completed an extra year taking some additional GCSE's. I am now on the Hair and Media Make-Up level 2 Diploma course, following which I intend to apply to the London College of Fashion to study for a BA (Hons) in Hair, Make-up & Prosthetics for Performance.
I have had many compliments on my work including a retweet on one of my photos on twitter from a walking dead fan page. I have also been asked by many people to do their makeup for fancy dress parties and events. I live locally, and would really like to broaden my knowledge by shadowing someone already working in the industry ( I am happy to do this on an unpaid basis). I would welcome the opportunity to show you some pieces of my work and to discuss any opportunities you may be able to offer me. I look forward to hearing from you.

We have recently started promoting and selling make up made by a company called Younique which is extremely good quality and some of it's products we thought make up artists might be interested in.
A lot of the make up is water proof and hard wearing which would be good with the heat from the theatre lights and are perfect for covering marks, for example if you need a tattoo covered.
