Productions are always presented in a traditional way and the best local talent is sought, both to perform and to provide technical support. Liverpool Network Theatre Group was born out of the idea of theatre as a political force, with the power to change society for the better. This was epitomized by the dedication of our former chair, Graham Frood, who sadly passed away in September 2003. Network is committed to staging high quality productions, accessible to ordinary people. We hope the issues in our productions are relevant today, both in our more contemporary plays, and in our historical comedies. Currently, the group stages three productions per year, while many of our members contribute ' on and off stage ' to other local community theatre productions. You can contact Network on the following liverpoolnetworktheatre@googlemail.com
Since 1951, the company has been based at Lucilla House, 18 Victoria Road West, Crosby, Liverpool. We own this large, Victorian property, and with time and effort, both given abundantly by members, have turned it into an attractive and comfortable clubhouse. The coffee lounge, scenery workshop, studio theatre, green room and bar occupy the first two floors, with a 3rd floor storage area, and there is a small car park at the front. Sometimes, we are asked by potential new members if an Audition is necessary before joining. The answer is no, definitely not! One of the reasons for this is that Lucilla offers many opportunities to be involved with drama other than 'treading the boards', and many people join to get involved in non-acting aspects of drama, such as those mentioned on our Who We Are & What We Do page. No auditions are held for our 'in house' productions. Want to become a member Contact us via our website or social media

Make Believe Productions began in 2014 shortly after Joshua Davies & Josephine Sherlock graduated with a Musical Theatre degree from The London College Of Music. Having experienced the challenges surrounding the profession of a performer, the idea was to make a career in musical theatre more accessible for performers throughout the country. The company began with the idea to showcase some of the most popular songs from musicals of the 21st century which became 'Thoroughly Modern Musicals'. With the production set in motion, plans for future shows began to develop. Joshua & Josephine began writing for an original musical called 'The Return of Neverland'. Based on J.M Barrie's Peter Pan, it tells the story of life in Neverland 30 years after Wendy left. 'The Return of Neverland' hopes to be the first in a long line of successful productions.
