Once upon a time in Dartmouth...
... 2002, if we're being precise, a group of friends thought it would be a great idea to put on an open-air Shakespearean production, and Dartmouth Castle seemed to be the ideal setting.Of course, one of the most important decisions that had to be made was: What would they call themselves? So they ordered another round of drinks at the bar of The Cherub Inn (can you see where this is going?) and put their not inconsiderably endowed heads together. Thus was born The Inn Theatre Company. Little did they know! The full story of The Inn Theatre Company is to be found within the pages of this site. Have a look around, you'll be amazed at the number of people, over the years, who have been involved and helped make us what we are today.

Ice Factory Theatre, R/O 10 Somerset Place, Teignmouth, Devon TQ14 8EN

The day to day management and running of the Ice Factory is by the Teignmouth Players
a group of enthusiastic Amateurs with a common love of the theatre. We are committed to bringing the best possible entertainment and will be using the Ice Factory, The new Carlton replacement (Pavilions Teignmouth) and other suitable venues in what we believe will be an exciting and challenging future full of new ideas.
Like all old buildings the Ice Factory presents challenges and we currently do not have access to the performance area for physically disabled people. We have commissioned a report from Living Options Devon and will be using that as a base for our endeavours to provide the best possible solution for many disabilities and have already started work on the solutions.
This all takes time and funds and, as much as we all want to resolve any potential issues now, without a magic wand we are unable to provide an instant solution.
We have a very active youth section, The T.Y.K.E.S who meet every week and present two productions each year.
They are proud of their past achievements but look forward with ever more optimism to the challenges of the future which they hope will see them offering many more years of high standard affordable live theatre in Teignmouth
We have open auditions for our productions and everyone is welcome.

Torquay Operatic Society (TOPS Musical Productions)

Torquay Operatic Society was founded in 1897 as a winter hobby for the 'Rowing Set.' Thirteen men attended the first meeting which launched the society. The founding fathers wanted to give the people of Torquay a chance to enjoy musical productions which might have otherwise been denied them. At the same time it was agreed that the society's aim should be to raise funds for charity.
2005 saw a change of name for the society. Many members felt that Torquay Operatic Society no longer reflected the type of music they sing and the shows they now present. T.OP.S. Musical Productions is the new promotional name for the society that will take it through the 21st Century.
