Peer Productions’ vision is to use theatre to genuinely change young people’s lives. Founded in 2006, Peer Productions is an award winning youth arts charity specialising in combining high quality arts practice with peer education. Each year we reach 15,000 young people across the South East of England, enabling them to change the way they think and to make positive life choices. Our work is made with, by and for young people and focuses on three interlinked strands of Identity, Crime Prevention and Health. We have developed a unique approach whereby young people are at the centre of every stage of the creative process. We use peer education and theatre to empower three separate groups of beneficiaries: young peer educators, disadvantaged project participants and young audience members.

The Quince Players are based in the Cordes Hall, Sunninghill - having been resident since 1945! Affectionately known as the ‘QPs’, we traditionally stage three shows each year: a pantomime in January and plays in May and September. Rehearsals are normally twice a week, (Tuesdays and Thursday evenings), with an occasional Sunday afternoon for good measure. ,br>There are around 150 members - a mixture of adults and juniors - and new members are always welcome as there are plenty of things to get involved in. Don't worry if being on stage is not your thing, QP's can find a job for everyone. No special skills are necessary, just bags of enthusiasm and a bit of spare time to give. QPs support the local community and ahead of each production the show director nominates a local charity to benefit from some of the performance proceeds. The QPs pride themselves in putting on great shows performed to the highest possible standard. I invite you not to just take our word for it, but to come along and see our next show or pop in to an Open Evening! Slough Windsor and Maidenhead Theatre Company (S.W.M.T.C.) has it's origins way back in 1953 when a group of like minded performers in the Slough area came together. The group first met at the Orchard school (now the West Wing Theatre) and the rest, as they say, is history! Some 57 years later we are still going strong and attracting performers from all over the East Berkshire and West London areas. We are a friendly and sociable group who put on two major musical performances a year. Formerly Slough and District Operatic Society and laterly Slough Musical Theatre Company, as of November 2008, to reflect our work in the Maidenhead theatre community and also the diverse area our membership is from, we became ... Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead Theatre Company. We welcome performers from the age of 16 to 60+ who have a love of theatre and want to learn and gain experience taking part in some very challenging shows. Alternatively, if you have an interest in backstage work, we would also like to hear from you too. We currently rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 8pm to 10pm at 536 Ipswich Road, Slough Trading Estate, Slough, Berkshire SL1 4EQ During "resting" periods between shows, we have a regular social scene with various activities being organised by various members of the committee and society.
