Helensburgh

A welcoming group of anybodies and everybodies who all love a good musical.
Helensburgh Savoy has produced 30 shows since 1984 and over the years has donated over 33,000 directly to local charities and organisations. We are a very inclusive group and encourage all ages and abilities to take part in our productions. Although singing and acting are obviously a main part of a Helensburgh Savoy production, many other talents are needed. Costume, set building, scenery painting, make-up, props, stage management and crew, prompting, front of house and fund raising are all vital and enjoyable parts of what, at first glance, appears to be a purely musical activity. Perhaps you like singing and do not want to act in a show but would like to take part in our concerts. Whatever your interest we would like to hear from you. We meet most Wednesdays at 7:30pm in St Michaels Church Hall, William St. Helensburgh. If at all interested in joining, helping or making contact with the club, please email the Secretary at: info@helensburghsavoy.org.uk

Mull Youth Theatre provides exciting, vibrant and stimulating youth opportunities. The children and young adults can discover, explore and question their creativity in order to build confidence, develop life skills in a safe, inclusive and fun environment.
All Mull Youth Theatre participants learn through skills-based workshops moving towards performances, which can be either full-scale productions or end-of-term feedback to family and friends.
We also create new opportunities by taking our students to see theatre, participating at festivals, setting up intensive workshops with professionals, holding summer courses in performing arts and running an extremely well established exchange with a young French theatre company.
All weekly classes are generally full and we do have a waiting list so please check for availability.
