The Theatre Department at BCA provides significant opportunities for all students to develop imaginative, technical and performance skills as well as a sophisticated appreciation of the work of the theatre artist. Working in state of the art facilities with experienced professionals from the BCA faculty and visiting guest-teaching artists students take classes, engage in collaborative projects and produce pieces of theatre.
The Road Company believes in providing professional quality live theater, educational programming and community outreach by creating artistic, technical and operational opportunities to celebrate, educate and share stories of diversity, equality and inclusion. Our core value is to include and support all artists and patrons no matter their age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.
We will continue to use our artistic expression to transcend a message of hope, love and equality to strengthen our community while keeping the Arts alive in the historic Grand Theatre.

Studio Players is a non-profit theatre company located in Montclair, New Jersey. Since 1937, we have been providing high quality entertainment at an affordable price. Each season delivers a variety of shows ranging from hit plays to original works to musicals and children’s plays. With a strong commitment to family entertainment, we are proud to devote half of each season to our popular Magic Trunk series for children. Year after year, these children’s shows have been very popular with young and old alike. For adult audiences, there is no shortage of comedy, suspense and music at Studio Players. Our Main Stage shows boast impressive talent and production values. We are an organization that is entirely comprised of volunteers. Some of our members have a background in professional performing arts, but many do not. We are nurses, dentists, engineers, teachers, etc. with a love of theatre and the richness it brings to a community. If you’d like to get involved with Studio Players, you’ll find no shortage of opportunities. Those wishing to perform on stage may attend auditions for any of our productions. We do not pre-cast our shows. We love new talent. Over the last five years over 40% percent of those performing on stage were newcomers to Studio Players. There are also many behind-the-scenes roles such as lights, sound, set construction, scenic design, costumes, make-up, box office, hospitality and more. The theatre is open to everyone and offers a fun, family atmosphere.
