The Malta amateur Dramatic Club, or MADC as it is commonly known, is Malta’s oldest theatre company having spanned ten generations.
Established in 1910 the MADC has been staging at least three high level productions a season. Today these include a Christmas Pantomime, which usually runs for three weeks over the Christmas period and has been doing so since 1978, as well as an open-air Shakespeare ever since 1938. MADC is also proud to be the only Amateur Dramatic company in the world to be granted the rights to perform The Mousetrap as part of the shows 60th anniversary celebrations.
