NenaghHistory of Nenagh Choral Society Est. 1949. Nenagh Choral Society celebrated a special Ruby year in 2010 in recognition of its re-establishment in 1970. It wasn't until 1971 that the revived society put on its first production with Cinderella being staged in the then Nenagh Town Hall. Over 40 shows later and 40 years after first stepping onto the boards of that very stage the society returned to the town halls new Arts Centre in 2011 for its production "Hot Mikado". 2011/2012 season sees the society take on a fresh challenge with its staging of two shows. Les Miserables in September followed by Beauty and the Beast in March 2012. That same principal followed for the 2012/13 season with the society staging West Side Story in October 2012. DublinNo Drama Theatre – “It’s all fun and games ‘til someone loses a line!”Every once in a while some like-minded individuals with a certain vision cross paths and something spectacular happens. No Drama Theatre is one such spectacular thing. Conceived in dusty old rooms and bar snugs back in 2008 with a view to providing a welcoming, easy-going environment for people to practice drama in Dublin city centre, No Drama Theatre, since a toddler, has strived to avoid the ordinary and nurture the extraordinary. Membership is open to all adults, regardless of experience, gender, race, sexual orientation, disability or religion. Anyone can come to one of our workshops and join us there and then. The simplest way to join No Drama is just to turn up…..”and the rest will be history!” We currently meet for workshops every Tuesday night in Synge street CBS at 6:45 p.m. Unfortunately we can only offer our workshops to people aged 18 and over for legal reasons.
