Gambia kolu la Kairo ( Peace for Gambian )

The group was founded in 2011 by Lamin Fatty and the aim is to promote African cultures around the world and to promote peace by sensitizing people about the danger of war. We are a group of 11, after our first and second drama, few has indicated interest of joining our noble group, the group is a voluntary drama group due to the nature of the country many people find it difficult to make a living and we are currently working on a project of encouraging youths empowerment,gender equity and child abuse and an avenue for young people realizing their potentials and sharing their mutual conscience towards diversifying our cultures and norms are some of the key element of message to be propagate.As we advance forward,of promoting our cultural heritage.
Some of our group members are illiterates due to such we had our previous dramas in our local language called Mandinka but we are playing our next drama in English.
