This website is dedicated to the art of the actor, the writer, the director - anyone involved with the theatrical arts. We have information about specific resources for theatre in Kingston, Ontario, as well as help for people anywhere in the world. We strive to illuminate the misty path to careers in the arts, we shine a light on those who prey on the dreams of others and teach you how to go about succeeding at acting and other things, in whatever depth you choose.
We are located in Eastern Ontario, although we are always reaching out nationally and internationally to make contact with others and to broaden our horizons. So keep your eyes peeled - we grow and grow!

Joining LLO
Summer Sing-Alongs take place in July and August and are open to everyone. Details will be posted to the website and our facebook page in late spring.
Auditions are held in the beginning of September for Chorus and Principal roles. For more information on auditioning please go HERE.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00pm unntil 10:00pm. Closer to showtime additional rehearsals may be required at the discretion of the Directors.
Volunteers are always welcome to help out during the production in a number of areas such as Front of House and as part of the Backstage crew.
Our annual production typically take place at the beginning of March. However, each show is different and the dates may change year to year.

Taboo Theatre productions are developed and performed on unceded and unsurendered Mi’kmaw territory. We, as residents and visitors to Mi’kma’ki, are all treaty people, and aim to uphold our responsibilities therein while producing art.
Our goal is to explore theatre that challenges societal norms and explores power through cetring the experiences and art of emerging artists and femmes.
Taboo Theatre was founded by Charles Crosby and has produced a number of plays in Halifax, including The Waiting Gentlewoman, The Murder Play, Rut, Tattoo You, Porn Shoppe, the sold-out smash hit The Whores, Adult Entertainment, The Madonna Painter and six shows featuring short plays in the Grand Guignol genre.
Taboo Theatre is a member of Theatre Nova Scotia and The Bus Stop Theatre Co-op

Toronto's only Irish community theatre group!
For more than 40 years the Players have been bringing the best in Irish theatre to Toronto. We present two shows a year, always by Irish playwrights, one in Spring and another in Fall. For those of you of interested in taking and active role in the group, we have events throughout the year such as play-readings and the odd get-together in the pub or BBQ so it is always a good time to join and everyone is welcome regardless of level of experience. The Toronto Irish Players (TIP) was founded by a group of new Irish immigrants in 1975 and is Toronto's only Irish community theatre group. Over the last 35 years we have produced more than 60 plays, connecting Toronto's Irish community and sharing Irish heritage with Toronto audiences by presenting classic and modern works from Irish playwrights.
TIP has been recognized with numerous awards at the Association of Community Theatres of Central Ontario (ACTCO) Theatre Festival, Theatre Ontario Festival and the Acting Irish International Theatre Festival.
