Since then the group has performed many plays, pantomimes and short sketches in and around the village.
Pinnacle Productions is always looking for new members – and not just for acting! If you fancy meeting new friends, learning about the theatre, working back stage, making props, costumes, scenery or helping with lighting or sound or simply supporting the productions, Pinnacle Productions would love to hear from you.
If you think you would like to come along and see what Pinnacle Productions do, please find out more by calling Angela on (01535) 634936 or Patricia on (01535) 635951.
You will be made most welcome, and there is no obligation to join, just come along and see if you like it.

There are also many social events in Pinnacle Productions’ calendar – from theatre trips, seaside trips, garden parties, an annual village quiz to regular play readings and social gatherings.
Pinnacle Productions are hoping to stage a pantomime at the end of 2012.

RoCo Dramatic Society

Roundhay, Leeds

The Leeds based amateur dramatic society is held at St Andrew’s Church, Shaftesbury Avenue, in Roundhay, Leeds.
RoCo Dramatic Society put on two plays a year, in March and November. Rehearsals for these take place on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 10.00pm, for twelve weeks, from January to March, and September to November. The group also produces a Murder Mystery in the summer, and this is usually performed on two nights.
Junior RoCo takes place on a Monday night from 6pm to 7.15pm, during term time only. We aim to stage two productions a year, usually in the summer term and around Christmas.
There is an Annual Dinner in April or May, with social events in the summer months. Members also participate in drama for worship and in the musicals performed by the church. Occasionally we have play readings and visits to see other drama groups, both amateur and professional.
We are always happy to welcome new members to both RoCo and Junior RoCo, whether on stage or behind the scenes, with stage crew, wardrobe, make-up and stage management. As with most drama groups, men are in short supply! We also welcome more young people between the ages of 17 and 30.
If you would like to find out more about joining RoCo or our next production, please use the contact form on our website – we would be happy to pass on details of our next play reading or meeting.
