Theze Guyz run a workshop on Saturday mornings 11am - 1pm for young people aged between 5 years and 16 years, developing skills in drama, dance and music. (All staff hold an up-to-date CRB certificate.)

Thrapston

TADS is integral to the community in Thrapston, with performances stretching back to 1913. We are based in the High Street in what used to be the town’s Cinema: Thrapston Plaza
Twice a year TADS take to the Plaza’s stage; the annual autumn and spring productions are much anticipated locally and beyond – regulars travel many miles to see our shows.
TADS also performs at local events and work closely with local charities, putting on specially chosen shows for the Parkinsons society and the annual ‘Holidays at Home’ events.
TADS prides itself on its friendly atmosphere and always welcomes new, enthusiastic and dedicated members, whether you want to help backstage or tread the boards!
TADS is always on the lookout for new members to the group, with or without experience. Whatever your interests, acting, prompting, wardrobe, set-building or general backstage help we want to hear from you!

U R Actors

Wellingborough

I Co-Run a Non for Profit Youth Theatre Group in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire called U R Actors. We meet on a Thursday Evening from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Our rehearsal and performance venue is Salem Hall, Salem Lane, Wellingborough. Members pay £5 per half term. We meet during School Term Times and occasional Sundays just before a show. When not rehearsing for a show, we work on; new material, learn new dances, new songs, etc. In 2010; we took our members to a recording studio and created our very own CD, we went to "Crossways" - a residential centre in Yardley Hastings in June for the weekend. Those looking to join us must be within the age range of 8 to 18 years in order to become a member. Once a member becomes 18 years of age they will not perform with the company any longer but will be encouraged to become a "Young Leader" and learn the various roles that encompass running a group. We have a limit on the number of members; so as to be able to give quality time to each young person and give all members the opportunity to perform. Places are limited and those wishing to join when all places have been taken will be added to a waiting list and contacted "in turn" when a space within the group becomes available. If you are interested in joining us then more information can be found on the "About Us" page or use the Contact Form to ask any specific questions you may have. We look forward to meeting some of you in the future!
Contact via website If anyone has any questions please feel free to get in touch. Kindest regards, Luke

Wellingborough

The WCADS have been in existence since 1933, and in their present form since September 1950, presenting on average two plays per year.
We are a small but friendly group who only perform dramas (generally either comedy or thrillers) not musicals. So if you want to experience the pleasures of the theatre from the business side, are over sixteen but cannot sing or dance, why not come and join us. That does not mean you will not be made welcome if you are musically inclined!
We meet in the Baptist Church Hall on Mill Road in on Tuesday evenings from 8pm until 10pm (when the Vivian Arms beckons).
