Cley Amateur Dramatic Society (CADS)

Cley Amateur Dramatic Society (CADS) puts on a pantomime each year in Cley Village Hall. This is performed on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday in early February. The cast is made up of local people from Cley, Blakeney, Holt, Sheringham and the surrounding villages. We have an open policy about involvement in the productions and if any one wants to 'have a go' then a role will be found for them. Alternatively, if you have an interest in helping back stage then you will be very welcome as part of that team.

Dusmagrik Young People's Theatre Company

The company performs at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston twice a year with shows usually in April and November. We engage a professional Musical Director to take charge of the singing and we usually perform to ‘live’ music. Seniors are invited to audition for both shows but the Juniors are usually only included in the April production. Please be aware that, while we encourage all members to have a go at auditions, it is not always possible to include everyone in a show. Workshops and rehearsals are held twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at the Lowestoft Road Methodist Church Hall in Gorleston. The hall entrance is on Suffield Road, opposite the Police Station.

East Norfolk Operatic Society

The East Norfolk Operatic Society was formed in 1959 based in Wroxham, Norfolk, UK and has concentrated mainly on the annual Spring production of a Gilbert and Sullivan opera. Over these years, all the operas have been performed at least once (Utopia Ltd) with the Mikado having been produced six times. The exception is, of course, Thespis, where most of the original material has been lost. For the 2005 production, we moved our performances to The Maddermarket Theatre, in Norwich, which has given us the benefit of the larger audience base of a medium sized English city and the established environment of a professional theatre which has a comfortable lounge/bar area and a proven publicity machine. The productions since then have all been very successful and well received. contact via website

Fakenham and District Light Operatic Society - FADLOS

Facebook  Twitter

Fadlos was set up 45 years ago in Fakenham performing plays with local people, after 5 years we were invited to become the resident in house theatrical group at the newly built Fakenham Community Centre. 30 years passed by, members came and went and Fadlos Kidz was created to give the youngsters an opportunity. Fadlos have traditionally produced one musical and one pantomime each year. And we have won three NODA awards for best Musical so clearly we do something right!
We welcome new members for any show, on stage, front of house, backstage or making tea. Please come along when we start our next show and make some friends. Fadlos has always been about fun, meeting new people and working together to create something everyone can be proud of.
