At Encore Productions we believe that theatre should be accessible, entertaining and engaging for everyone. We believe in one simple mantra... 'Amateur Theatre with a Professional Attitude'
Encore Productions was formed to provide adult performers with an alternative outlet to showcase their talents, with a primary objective to provide new, edgy and exciting productions. Encore Productions pride ourselves on high production values, always mindful of the satisfaction of both our members and more importantly our audiences.
Completely volunteer run, it is truly community theatre for the community by the community. It is with this in mind that we have maintained the policy never to audition to be a member. Whilst we remain and model ourselves on the practises of professional theatre we are keen to support, develop and grow amateur performers into reaching their full potential.

Nados Nippers was formed approximately 10 years ago by members of NADOS who joined when they were children. All Coordinators are volunteers from NADOS. The ethos of Nippers is to educate young people in the Newton and Earlestown area in all aspects of theatre. Nippers allows them to perform in their own showcases and also within the main NADOS shows - making regular appearances in Pantomimes and occasionally in the annual musicals.
There is, perhaps, no more powerful tool than theatre to reach children. It taps into the instinct with which they are born, the instinct to explore by pretending - the instinct that, unfortunately, all too often is attacked by a world that pushes them to focus more on how they measure up than on who they truly are and can be.
At Nippers the children are all equal and free to explore. There are no wrong answers to fear and no competition to fall short of - only the chance to try being someone else and, by doing so, to discover a little more about themselves.
Nippers meet on Tuesday evenings between 5.45 and 8pm at Newton County Primary School. Nippers are open to all children between the ages of 7 and 15 years. We do have to charge a small fee to cover the running costs of the group for further information and details on how to enrole you child at Nippers please email
We are a well-established friendly group with our own theatre in Nantwich. Our membership of around 100 people of all ages enables us to stage 6 full-length plays for 8 nights and a Youth Production for 4 nights each year.
